26. Unzipped, a day in the life of a...
It was another lazy day, just sitting in the ……. chatting to the ……... and
…….. The occasional tickle of insect feet when a fly landed on his skin.
Life as a …….was pretty ok. Finally when hands closed around him
fingers bent his stalk back until his skin popped open and his insides
oozed out. His tiny …….mind screamed in terror as his soft flesh was
exposed, his skin peeled off and discarded in a floppy pile.
Had this been his fate all along? Why hadn´t anyone warned him?

31. G for Gadgets #AtoZChallenge
‘So, how many days will you be away?’ Sameer asked Dia.
‘Three days. But may extend to five,’ she replied continuing with the packing.
‘What are you taking?’ asked Sameer looking at her work clothes spread on the bed.
‘Three pairs of work wear, office laptop, my Tab, my Kindle and their chargers.’
‘Why do you need so many gadgets? Can’t you decide on Tab or a Kindle? You can even read on your smartphone. I
think you should rather carry some extra clothes.’
32. On/Off JUNE 25, 2015 / LITTLEWRITELIES@GMAIL.COM
“Off,” the boy whispered to the star that was peeking through his bedroom window. And it disappeared from
the sky. “On.” And the star came back, glittering in the dark. “On,” he said again, giggling as a new star came
into being next to the first. “On! On! On!” New stars sprang into existence, shining in crude formations. “Go
to bed,” his mother groaned from the hallway. The boy scrambled into bed but couldn’t find his way to sleep,
the starlight too bright. “Off,” he said. The stars disappeared and his room went dark.

This ss will hopefully encourage you to get connected. Many times we feel so overwhelmed by the amount of information available for us at our fingertips that we get stuck in the mud of our own fears. Let me help you overcome your fears by sharing with you today a couple of practices that have become part of my routine and that of many teachers worldwide. The idea is to get ourselves and our students connected to the world out there and in so doing become better teachers and grow as human beings.
BECAUSE ENGLISH IS OUR PASSION!!! Have you ever stopped to think about the amazing time we are living as teachers of English, this is a ridiculously amazing time to find content, resources, information, to connect. Our students are motivated to learn a language and we can make this work for us.
This is the best time to be a teacher of English! Chances are our students are already interacting in English as they post content on social media, play online games, or LEARN with YouTube tutorials!
Broadcast yourself! Take a picture of yourself with a new friend and share it in the social media you use more often. Let the world know that you are working to become a better teacher! Remember the hashtag!
Let´s start by connecting with our fellow teachers in this room. Write down 2 nouns, 3 verbs and 1 adjective that describe you as a person.
Since you have your phone at hand, take this opportunity to share some of your pictures with the group. These are mine: Behold my pets: Copi and Cathy
We´ve all been there where we think something bad can happen to us if we go online. Well, the answer is:
What type of story is this? Who is the principal character? Job?
This is my summary of the story using Emojis, which are like emoticons on steroids. Our students and prob you use them a lot when interacting via text and they can express words, ideas, feelings.
Choose a group of emojis and make up a story based on them. You have permission to stretch out your imagination!
Sadness, Anger, Joy, Fear, Disgust: The characters of” Inside Out “.
Tweet a message: If you love… Famous quotes/ Pop stars

Write a Tweet or a FB message to the authors commenting on their story, what you liked, or just thanking them!
