Responsibilities:
 Worked in CSD (coating section department) including GALVANIZING
and GALVALUME (dual pot) continuous line which includes
Vertical furnace (NON-OX) of capacity 35TPH – 5 zones
Radiant Tube Furnace (RTF) – 4 zones with pulse firing cycle
Soaking Zone – 5 zones
Jet Cooling Furnace (JCF) – 4 zones.
 Responsible for plant and equipment maintenance and replacements of worn
out parts
 Having to scrutinize technical mechanical problems and follow corrective
procedures to fix problems and avoid recurrence
 Explaining technical problems to non technical colleagues
 Involved in plant modification for better performance and smooth operation.
 Making sure all safety precautions are taken in running line, shut down and
breakdown.
 Spare management which helps in saving time during breakdowns and
shutdowns.
 Maintenance of utility department like screw compressors, cooling towers
and pump houses for better operation support,
 Maintenance of EOT cranes.
 Better problem solving abilities with equipments like hydraulic and
pneumatic valves, hydraulic pumps and rotating equipments.

 Taking safety precautions while working near Gas pipelines and LPG yard.
 Ability to understand engineering drawings.
 Real time experience on SAP PM Module, carrying out day to day activities in SAP
related to maintenance practices.
