Steve is passionate about developing successful art & design dimensional solutions for clients.
They rely on him as their go-to-resource for his unique understanding of print and structure,
problem-solving and management skills, innovative solutions from multiple materials, positive
attitude and attention to details. Steve has valuable packaging and POP (POS) display
expertise to offer businesses to help grow sales. His experience managing manufacturer and
customer teams to meet quality and budget expectations resulted in successful products that
met or exceeded customer expectations, building long-lasting customer relationships.
Recently Steve completed a teaching assignment at St. Mark’s School of Texas Summer Camp.
As Jr. Art Director, he shared his business art & design expertise to show children they can be
creative, use problem-solving skills, work together and have fun!
Currently Steve leads Main Ideas, a dimensional graphics solutions company he created to help
clients with effective product design, packaging and product display. His trademark is unique
ideas beyond manufacturer’s stock answers, combining different materials, print and fabrication
methods for successful solutions. Steve’s background of Sales, Industrial Design and Graphic
Design sets him apart. Steve has also contributed articles and Corrtoonz® to packaging
publications and honored as he served as a judge for several student and packaging industry
international print and package design competitions.
Previously, as Sales & Account Manager at St. Jude Packaging & Displays, Steve increased
sales 400% over the prior year while increasing market presence in TX and OK with over 200
new leads. As Sales Manager at Hager Containers, O’Grady Containers and Stone Container,
he expanded their graphics capabilities and skills to compete in new markets resulting in growth
of new graphic sales from 10% to 40% of total sales. Steve began his career at Dimensional
Designs in Indianapolis creating trade show displays, kiosks, POP displays and retail spaces.
Past clients include Dr. Pepper, Doskocil Mfg., E&J Gallo, Foster-Grant, Frito-Lay, International
Paper, Kroger, McDonalds, Mace Security, Mattel Toys, Taylor Publishing, 7-11 and
Weedeater.
