(Music Bed fades in)
Are you sick of hearing this?
Or are you this person?
(SFX of typing on text)
MOV: I don’t know how to use this! I am sick of having all of these new phones
and laptops being shoved down my throat. Why do you need so many things
for one function? What was wrong with whatI had in my day.
FOV: Haveyou tried turning it off and on-again dad, it’s not that difficult. I
don’t understand why you’restruggling so much, new techs not that hard.
GOD.
FOV: Now can I borrow your record player and vinyl’s, my friends are coming
over and I want to show them how cool this stuff is, oh also, do you know if
mom still has her polaroid, from when shewas my age, they are so hipster at
the moment.
(Polaroid camera snap sound)
FOV: Is technology evolving too fast? Do you feel like a dinosaur with
technology, stuck in the stone age? Is the new technology even worth buying?
If so, why arepeople going back to using polaroid’s and record players? All of
these questions are answered in the BBC documentary, Generation Gap, 8pm
this Thursday. Which you can watch on Tvs new and old.
