Cyber world.
?
Simple,We engage the technologically.
Years 9-10 received laptops to help their learning experiences.
ICT initiative: *allow the students to become competent, discriminating and creative users of ICT, *getting the students to analyse data, format and template it. *demonstrate ethical issues through the uses of ICT and use simulation and software to make choices and decisions as a team member.
As students see it , if they don’t know it they Google it!
But is this the right way?
In my core learning area of Drama,Film is a core component of Understanding and content in Drama.
‘A vision of K-12 students.’
’ We are the technological generation, why can’t we learn technologically?’.

shaking
The film shows how making a factual film can be fun!
Generation Y is the Technology Generation.
The second film entitled ‘Forbidden’,‘Forbidden’,This film is in narrative form which is a great example of a possible film form for all students.
The film shows the generations and how their relationships have formed.
*simple mid-shots where we can see the emotions .*close up occurring to show a significant point, the biscuits, rock and medals.
The idea of this simple and effective narrative in terms of technique and story could be utilised to show students how interesting and effective you can make a narrative film.
As a drama focused teacher I felt that the film lacked character development, the characters seemedAnd shallow. distant
This film would be a good example of what you can expect from a student who is embarking on their own film narrativejourney.
This shows us how concept of technology can be used as a discovery tool, and used to inspire and develop some amazing learning for all students extending them beyond what they thought could be possible.
