2. Recycle or collejas
The recycling of glass since 1998 has prevented the extraction of 13 million tons
of raw materials, an amount that could fill 5 football stadiums. In terms of energy
savings, together we have saved 30 million of energy, enough to supply the
electricity consumption of all hospitals in Spain for more than 3 years.
3. “Each can count”
The objective of this campaign is to show the relevance of the recycling
of beverage cans for later use in the manufacture of new containers or
other objects for daily use with special emphasis on recycling outside the
home, through a simple habit and within reach of all consisting of
depositing them in the yellow containers installed throughout the country.
