1. Unit Title
Teaching Vocabulary by Using Origami.
2. Goal
The students will actively use these new vocabularies in their daily conversation.
3. Objectives
a) Terminal Objective
The students will be able to pronounce these new vocabularies correctly.
b) Enabling Objective
Students will be able to make some origami animals.
Students will be able to identify what the origami animals are.
Students will be able to know how these animals behave.
Students will comprehend and produce the following six new vocabularies.
(Butterfly : fly, Fish : swim, Frog : Jump.)
4. Material and Equipment
a) A list of new vocabularies.
b) Origami paper.
5. Procedure
a) Opening
Saying hello to the children.
Asking how are you?
b) Main activities
Dividing class into three groups.
Each group will be taught to make one of the three origami animals.
The teacher says what the name of these three origami animals in English.
And then the teacher informs the students how these animals behave.
Teacher pronounces these new vocabularies and asks the students to repeat after
her.
c) Closure
OK. That’s our material today. Have a nice day.
2. 6. Evaluation
In the end of the lesson the teacher show one by one these three origami animals and
ask the students to behave as if the animal. (E.g. they jump when the teacher shows
origami frog.)
7. Extra-Class Work
The teacher asks the students to find some animals around them and how it behaves.
