6. Never be afraid to ask questions at meetings! Not
only does asking questions help you as a new
member, it often helps us to gain clarity around a
discussion.
Reach out to your fellow members if you have
questions before, during or in between meetings.
Don’t be overwhelmed with the work! No one person
has to do it all. While we realize that we can
accomplish more as a group than alone, remember
there are ways to contribute to the success of a
project without having to be “on hand” for every
moment.
Find your passion within the club! Being a club
member allows you the chance to learn about your
hidden talents in an encouraging and judgement-
free environment.
