2. The Origin
 The Paperplane Sport was introduced in the
early 21st century.
 It was created when the creator was home
alone and had nothing to do;
 The idea of creating the brand new sport
sparkled, when she saw… a hanger lying on
the floor and a piece of paper near it.

3. You may think…
 What a simple clothes hanger
and a piece of paper
may have in common with
sports?

4. Well…
 If you have a hanger and a paperplane (a paper
airplane),
that’s all you need for playing the Paperplane Sport!

5. How to play: Stage 1
 The player stands on some distance from the
hanger
 The paperplane is thrown towards the hanger

6. How to play: Stage 2
 The paperplane must fly through the hanger

7. How to play: Stage 3
 Get points if the paperplane have flown away
through the hanger!

8. The laws of Paperplane sport:
Players
Paperplane sport is a single sport that can be
played by an individual of any gender and age.

9. The laws of Paperplane sport:
Equipment
 The paperplane must:
 be prepared from one A4 format paper;
 weigh 15-20g (0.03-0.04 lb);
 be of any color scheme.
 The hanger must:
 have a triangular shape;
 have 50cm (1.64 ft) length and 20cm (0.65
ft) height;
 weigh 1kg (2.2 lb).

10. The laws of Paperplane sport:
General
 Championships are organized semiannually (Spring & Autumn);
 The game is organized either outdoors (in case the weather is sunny and no wind
exists), or anywhere indoors;
 The player needs to stand on 3m (9.8 ft) distance from where the hanger is;
 The paperplane needs to be flown through the hanger to bring the player a score;
 Paperplanes are brought by players; the hanger is provided by the Paperplane
sport Association;
 The player gets:
 0 points - the paperplane hasn’t reached the hanger or hasn’t flown through
it;
 1 point - the paperplane flew 0.5-1m (1.6-3.3ft) distance through the hanger;
 2 points - the paperplane flew 1.0-1.5m (3.3-4.9ft) distance through the
hanger;
 3 points if the paperplane flew 1.5-3m (4.9-9.8 ft) distance through the
hanger;

11. Who wins and what are Prizes!
 Each player has 10 attempts to throw the
paperplane;
 Players with first 3 highest scores are winners.
 The prizes are:
 1 place – golden hanger and golden

nd place – silver hanger
 3rd place - bronze paperplane
