La mostra Dom1 nasce fra amici attorno ad un
tavolo e tra i caldi arredi domestici. Un incontro
non casuale, così come non è accidentale il luogo:
una casa. Spazio privato della SignoraCarmela che
ha voluto fortemente la mostra, si presta in questo
periodo di restauri e lavori ad essere la cassa di
risonanza di pratiche artistiche, che senza alcun
riferimento diretto vogliono ricordare Antonio,
fratello della signora ormai vero e proprio Genius
loci della casa. Grande amante di musica Antonio
viene annualmente ricordato in un evento musicale
che si svolge ad Aprile ad Avigliano. Questo
incontro estivo della durata di una sola sera, quella
del 27 Agosto, è principalmente legato all’arte
visiva e concettuale, e vuole essere un modo per
avvicinare la sua passione attraverso il filtro della
sorella appassionata d’arte.
Il titolo Dom1 ha nella sua semplicità una doppia
valenza, quella di indicare il luogo dell’evento in
due modi, in maniera fisica dando quasi la
coordinata spaziale della casa nella quale avviene
l’incontro, la numero 1 di Piano G. Matteotti, e in
maniera affettiva, attraverso il senso della parola
