ASAP History
ASAP is an international privately owned staffing and executive search firm, founded in Venezuela
by Luis Luciani in 2000. By 2004 ASAP was recognized as the #1 Staffing Firm for Quality Service,
by 2005 ASAP had the largest operation for a staffing firm in that country. In 2008, Luis Luciani and
Luis A. Luciani, decided to expand internationally and start ASAP SERVICES in Miami, FL. There
they have established strong commercial relationships with several small and medium sized
businesses and publicly traded companies in the south Florida market.

Core Recruitment Process:
Sourcing –Although recruiting sources like Monster, CareerBuilder, and job fairs add to our
candidate pool these are secondary. Our staffing professionals have experience not only in
recruiting but in their specific industry. We leverage our collective knowledge and extensive
professional network to find candidates no other firm can reach.
Screening- All staffing firms start with a resume and decide if they should call the candidate. We
start with a reference. Most of our new recruits come from a candidate we have placed or a client
we have serviced. Talented professionals know talented professionals; we leverage our network of
people to infiltrate a list of contacts in a specific industry. In ASAP we also ask our candidates to
complete a behavioral assessment based on the DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness,
Conscientiousness) model to better understand the candidate’s behavior on the work place, which
reflects on longer lasting employees and better matches with the company’s corporate culture.
Interviewing- Many firms interview candidates to hit a quota set by upper management. They will
bring someone in just to make sure they have a pulse and a social-security number. These

interviews generally last 8-10 minutes and consist of nothing more than a basic predetermined line
of questioning. By the time we bring our candidates in we already know them to a point as if they
were coming to work for us. The interview can last as long as it needs for us to determine if they are
the right fit for each available position and understand which corporate culture they would better
fit in. We concentrate on experience, technical/software skills, presentation, and (most
importantly) personality and values.
Placement- Our business is focused on quality not quotas. Before placing a candidate we consult
with you to be 100% sure that they not only meet the required skills, but are a great addition to
your corporate culture. We provide the candidate with as much information as possible so they can
make a sound decision in regards to joining your organization. As staffing consultants we liaise and
discuss salary, benefits, on-boarding procedures, company and working environment.
Candidate managing- Each staffing professional with ASAP can be reached any time via company
cell phone. Since we are working with a select number of top candidates we can maintain an open
channel of communication. As a policy we call our candidates after day-one with your company and
keep open that channel of communication to ensure we made the right placement.
ASAP’s Team:
Luis A. Luciani, CSP - Owner/Managing Director
Luis A. Luciani, a board member of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce, obtained his
Bachelors in Business Administration and degree in Financial Engineering from Universidad
Metropolitana (Venezuela). Luis completed numerous business seminars and courses from the
Kellogg School of Business and Babson College. With over 9 years in the staffing industry, all with
ASAP, Luis holds the position of Director of Finance. In 2008 he was transferred to Miami to lead
their new North American Expansion. He holds the CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) endorsed
by the ASA (American Staffing Association).
Luis Luciani (Sr.), MBA – Owner
Luis Luciani Sr. majored in Mechanical Engineering and earned his MBA from Cornell University. At
a young age Luis was named the President of Technoconsult, C.A. the largest Engineering firm in
Venezuela. In 2000 he decided to start ASAP, leveraging his contacts in the oil and engineering
industry. Luis is currently the Owner and President for ASAP SERVICIOS, ASAP CONSULTORES,
ASAP ETT and ASAP VENEZUELA, and owner/founder of ASAP SERVICES in Miami, FL.
Account Executives – more than 160 team members
ASAP’s team of account executives and team members exceed 160 professionals. Every team
member is accountable for no more than 8 client companies in order to maintain a real boutique
type of service with high standards. Our Account Executives have diversified backgrounds in
Logistics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources and Information
Technology, and work as a team when client’s needs are not in their area of expertise.
