• I began as a perioperative preceptor and mentor
• I was the only Clinical Nurse Consultant at Gosford Private Hospital

• I have been a national assessor of the online learning package for GENCA
• I have been asked to privately consult on risk management to public and private
hospitals, DSU units, Armed Forces units (HMAS Penguin)

• I have worked with GENCA to write various educational packages/DVD’s
• I have been a reviewer for ACORN standards in 2010
• I have worked with 2 colorectal surgeons to promote and market a new fully-
disposable rigid sigmoidoscope
• I have been able to sit on the Boards of ACI, NSW Bowel Screening, CoNNO,
GENCA & COGEN in both presidential and advisory capacities
• I remain the GENCA representative for the Coalition of National Organisations
(CoNNO)
• I was awarded the Trudy Rayner Scholarship by GENCA – highest award for
educational opportunities to attend World Congress in London and observe
endoscopy processes in Switzerland, Germany and France
• I was awarded a Lifetime membership to GENCA in 2012 for commitment and
dedication to The College and Gastroenterology nursing
• I was the first GENCA facilitator to take the Reprocessing Course to NZ in 2013
and now responsible for the training in NZ of a new facilitator

Worldwide Who’s Who registry & given a lifetime membership
