1. Native American Cultures
Through a series of readings, games, activities and
projects, students examine the four main Native
American cultural regions in North America.

2. This course will utilize a Moodle site, email
and Skype to facilitate communication
between instructor and student.
Most work is done independently, although
blogs will be utilized on the Moodle site for
peer reviews and sharing of introductions.

3. “The Big Questions”
What is the land and the climate
like in each of the four regions?
How did the people in each region
make use of their natural
resources to live?
What kinds of foods did these 4
regions specialize in?
What types of shelters were
used in each area?

investigate a cultural
tradition from one of
the four regions and
create a presentation
