2. What Is It?
• The Cambridge Film Festival is a large gathering to
show high quality independent films to the widest
possible audience. Its for people who enjoy films and
want to see whatʼs install for the following years. It also
includes films made by new upcoming directors and
producers.
3. Location?
• The Festival's traditional home is the Arts Picture house in
central Cambridge. In 2008, to mark there new September
dates, they set up screens in locations across the city,
including at the Institute of Astronomy, Wesley Methodist
Church, on Magdalene Street and even along the banks of
the river Cam.
4. Target Audience
• I think the target audience is most probably
early 20’s and over really, because a lot of
the films that are shown are from
upcoming directors and producers, and a
lot is serious drama or documentary.
5. Funding?
• The Festival would not be possible without
the support of all there sponsors and
partners. There main funders are Screen
East, for their long-standing commitment to
there development.
6. Also Includes...
• You can also sow your own movies, if you
submit an application they can allow you to
show your movies at the festival and get
feedback on how your work looks.
