My work has focused on improving access to low-threshold medical and psycho-social services for vulnerable populations. I have
coordinated efforts among staff of multinational organizations; government officials; experts; and target populations to produce
comprehensive, effective programs and find solutions for building institutional capacity of health systems and civil society.

Built JCS presence in the Jewish community throughout Miami-Dade County. Took initiative to develop internal systems to benefit
the functioning of the organization. Proactively engage in strategic planning process to make JCS more client-focused.

Developed proposal and strategy for introducing sustainable sanitation solutions in Haiti and promoting composting toilets as a
viable sanitation solution. Wrote and submitted grant for $100,000 to Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Worked with local leaders, target groups and UNDP staff to develop national HIV & TB prevention strategy and proposal for funding
to the Global Fund Against AIDS, TB (GFATM) and Malaria ($180 million). Intervention included all aspects of disease control: health
systems strengthening, community outreach; hospital restoration; education; medical supplies; blood safety; policy; etc.

Represented Tajikistan’s civil society throughout program development and proposal writing processes. Worked closely with civil

Developed HIV prevention, treatment, care and support programs for high-risk groups (drug users, sex workers, street youth,
prisoners, etc.) throughout the Former Soviet Union. Wrote winning proposals to national and multinational organizations totalling
approximately $4 million. Edited, wrote & translated HIV informational materials for donors and target populations. Took initiative
to design and implement new systems for informational materials development. Catalyzed organizational rebranding.
