PUBLIC HEALTH AND COMMUNITY PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
My work has focused on improving access to low-threshold medical and psycho-social services for vulnerable populations. I have
coordinated efforts among staff of multinational organizations; government officials; experts; and target populations to produce
comprehensive, effective programs and find solutions for building institutional capacity of health systems and civil society.

Jewish Community Services (JCS), Miami, FL, Sept. 2010 - Present
   Built JCS presence in the Jewish community throughout Miami-Dade County. Took initiative to develop internal systems to benefit
   the functioning of the organization. Proactively engage in strategic planning process to make JCS more client-focused.

Compostera, Miami, FL, Sept. 2010 - May 2011
   Developed proposal and strategy for introducing sustainable sanitation solutions in Haiti and promoting composting toilets as a
   viable sanitation solution. Wrote and submitted grant for $100,000 to Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Chaim Drizin, MA, Miami, FL, Dec. 2010 - April 2011
   Created pilot program to introduce Narrative Therapy approach for teachers and parents in Jewish Orthodox schools in Miami.
   Wrote and submitted grant proposal (including detailed budget) to Avi Chai Foundation.

Informed Families, Miami, FL, Feb. 2011
    Developed comprehensive parent education intervention proposal for high-risk Miami Gardens community, including quality
    assurance, monitoring and evaluation. Wrote and submitted proposal for $300,000 to the Children’s Trust.

United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Dushanbe, Tajikistan, June - July 2010
    Worked with local leaders, target groups and UNDP staff to develop national HIV & TB prevention strategy and proposal for funding
    to the Global Fund Against AIDS, TB (GFATM) and Malaria ($180 million). Intervention included all aspects of disease control: health
    systems strengthening, community outreach; hospital restoration; education; medical supplies; blood safety; policy; etc.

AIDS Foundation East-West (AFEW), Dushanbe, Tajikistan, May - June 2008
   Represented Tajikistan’s civil society throughout program development and proposal writing processes. Worked closely with civil
   society and UNDP staff to produce winning $50-million proposal to GFATM. See also, above UNDP description.

    Developed HIV prevention, treatment, care and support programs for high-risk groups (drug users, sex workers, street youth,
    prisoners, etc.) throughout the Former Soviet Union. Wrote winning proposals to national and multinational organizations totalling
