Newsletter 2-21-11 Dear Parents & Guardians, This week in Language Arts: Reading— Mama’s Birthday Present Spelling— ai, ay vowel spellings Phonics—possessives Vocabulary Words—Content words Grammar/Writing—adjectives I can draw conclusions about actions in a story. I can spell words with ai and ay . I can read words with possessives. I can read and use content words in sentences. I can use adjectives in a sentence. I am finding spelling, vocabulary, and reading test papers “hidden” at school and have obviously not been taken home for you to see. If these test scores do not come home to you, please let me know and I can give you the scores. I usually have the spelling test done and sent home on Friday.
