 Connect teaching with real life situations with the help of Articles from
economic times to form case problems and relate with topics while
teaching.
 Economic times may also be placed in the corridor. Important articles
may be placed on the class notice board. Important headlines may be
read in the beginning of the class
 Train the students how to attempt HOTS Questions & Case Problems
 Train and involve the students how to make case problems.
 Teach beyond textbooks as the books become outdated very shortly,
answer the queries even not relating to syllabus but within the purview
of curriculum. The purpose is to make teaching learning interesting.
 Involve the students in role plays, projects, brain storming sessions,
debates, class discussions, quizzes, interaction with ex-students,
industry visits, study tours, films, power points presentations etc.

 Business magazines - business week, business world, business today,
consumer voice ( may be kept in the library)
 Use of PPT to recall the entire chapter
 Invite Readers, Lecturers, Professors from colleges & management
institutes on various topics, Invite Professionals who specialize in
Marketing, Financial Markets, Consumer Cases. Call a company Secretary/
Chartered Accountant to start with company accounts, Call Stock Broker
to start with Financial Management.
 Keep visiting academic and other important websites like; cbse.nic.in ;
cbse.academic.in ; Ministry of Corporate Affairs, SEBI, DOE (Directorate of
Education) and more.
 Use internet while teaching different topics and make the students aware
on the topics like CSR, NSE, BSE, SEBI, NCDRC (for Consumer Protection),
BIS (earlier known as Indian Standards Institute), MHRD, CCI, RTI etc.

4. • Students to be trained how to use RTI and to file complaint under
CPA Act, 1986
• Need to emphasise on various government schemes and websites
for youth like Skill India Portal, National Skill Development
Corporation (NSDC), MHRD, Make in India, (NITI) Aayog National
Institution for Transforming India, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna,
Atal Pension Yojna etc.
