Achieve an efficient eco-friendly insulation with lime and hemp
 Use the tools and specific equipment for preparing the mix and applying it
 Provide links to existing materials
 Manufacture binders according to the selected application
 Apply a lime and hemp render on a wall around openings
 Apply a finishing coat of lime and hemp
PRE-CONDITIONS
This course is designed for beginners. It is presented as a first approach to lime and hemp used as insulation materials.
It uses the concepts of quantity.
An English translation is provided on site
FEATURES OF THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY
This is the occupation of a mason and/or a specialist in insulation that incorporates the concepts of structure in his/her practice.
The activity is varied and requires attention to detail. The activity requires carrying heavy loads and keeping the effort in the
long term for rendering and plastering.
This activity requires an analytical mind, ability in mathematics and communication and a particular feeling for natural
materials. It takes place outdoors and indoors on new, contemporary or old buildings. The activity is often carried out in height.
TEACHING METHODS
Training will be carried out through awareness about the material and supervised by a specialist of hemp.
The intervention of the manager of Technichanvre is scheduled for early afternoon.
Theoretical information will be on site.
Practical explanations and demonstrations will be on site.
The trainees will practice on the training support - models produced for the training session.
