can be formally diagnosed at ages as young as 3. There is no medical test to diagnose autism, rather
a trained professional in the psychology field will perform a developmental screening and a
comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. When a child is diagnosed with autism, therapy is strongly
recommended. The earlier treatment starts the better because certain aspects of the disorder can be
lessened through therapy. Therapy helps the mind and the body, certain therapies can help rebuild

are going through mentally. Cyber bullies attack people psychologically and get very personal
with the intent of hurting someone. They hide behind the computer and use it to ruin others lives.

Argumentative Essay On Organ Donation
The medical industry had been achieving more in the stage of medical advancements, though they
are still in the early phase. Artificial organs have been one of those achievements. Although they
have achieved such, artificial organs are not perfect. Most doctors as well as patients would prefer
to replace a dying organ with a compatible human organ, rather than with an artificial or animal
organ. Yet due to a there being less organs donated than recipients, artificial and animal organs are
becoming more common in transplants. Most of this issue is because people are unaware of how
organ donation works, the organs that can be donated, how many people are in need, and the
advancements that have happened in the field. Organ donation saves hundreds of lives every year,
but many lives are recklessly lost due to a shortage of organ donors.
Organ donation is the medical process of voluntarily giving one or more of your organs to
someone in need, whether it be someone you know or a stranger. It is strictly voluntary, no
payment for the organ/s will be given from the hospital, the recipient or the recipients family. In
organ donation, there are two types of donations, living organ donation and deceased organ
donation. Living organ donation is when the donor is still alive and voluntarily chooses to donate
one or more of their organs to a recipient(s) in need. Whereas, deceased organ donation happens
after the donor has passed away, and consent was given to be able to donate their organs.
In living organ donation, before a donor can donate there are tests administrated to see if the donor is
suitable to donate. There is an evaluation of the donor done to make sure that no physical,
psychological, or emotional harm will happen to them before, during, or after donating
(Organdonor.gov U.S. Government Information on Organ Donation and Transplantation). In living
organ donation, most donations happen within family members, or between close friends, although
there are stranger donations that happen. Living organ donors should generally be physically fit, in
good health, and between the ages of 18 to 60. They should not have a history or have diabetes,
cancer, high blood pressure, kidney disease, or heart disease

Argumentative Essay Reflection One of my central struggles throughout high school has been
writing essays and reports for all classes not just english. I was a little worried when I signed up to
take this course, since it counted as a college credit. Even though I was worried about taking this
course, but I am thankful that I did. The main reason behind my decision to take this course is

One of the areas of my writing where I was struggling in using my voice. Granite, there were parts
of my essay where I successfully integrated quotes within my voice, but for the most part that was
my weakest area. For example of one of my better integrated quotes, in my third paragraph when I
say, "Today, consumers rely on social media for everything, whether it is communicating with old
friends, finding new friends, shopping, researching, and staying informed with the latest news.
Daniel adds that, "'Americans who take part in political activities on social networking sites also
tend to be highly active in other areas of political or civic life'" (29), which insinuates that people
rely on social media more today than we have in the past". This was one of my better examples
because I further explain and analyze the quote in my voice instead of just ending the sentence
after the quote. One of my poor examples is, "Many people who suffer from depression care a lot
about what others think about them. That is why many of those people tend to turn to social
media as an outlet to express their feelings". I made a bold statement and did not back up what I
said with my voice I just ended that sentence and moved on. Instead of moving on I should have
explained it further and told them why people tend to turn to social media to express their feelings.
