In my positive description I relate water with "crystal" because it is clean and totally clear. I also
relate water with "sky" due to its blue color. In my negative description I describe the sound of
waves with the word "roaring". Because the sound of waves at night feels so loud and dreadful.
In my positive and negative description of swimming pool I used similes and metaphors. I used
these to do comparison of two unlike things because it's give beauty to your writing. . For example

see with your all senses present. Describing each and every, pleasant or unpleasant detail about

One must have to be careful while choosing words. I have to keep a difference between pleasant

becoming young adults, they need to learn to be respectful and courteous to the adults and the
world around them. Which is a hard thing for parents to install in their children these days, due to

material object such as a blanket, the fearful child will cling to it until they feel comfortable with the

Fearful children may also withdraw when pushed into a new situation too quickly (Mangione). They

Children are the future of the world. They are going to be the leaders of tomorrow and are going
to make choices that will directly affect our generation. Children are pliable, so it 's up to us to
mold them well and send them in the right direction. However, who specifically is going to mold
these children? At six to eight hours a day, five days a week, teachers are positioned to become one
of the most influential people in a child's life. After their parents, children will first learn from their

research shows that a single teacher can shape the course of a young person's future, for better or

Some things in life are just meant to happen. Fate brought me to the seat I am sitting at, in this
university, miles and miles from where I was born. I never thought I would move. The idea was
inconceivable for an eight–year–old girl. Life was an endless cycle of days spent chasing butterflies,
catching ladybugs, and blowing apart dandelions while nights were full of stars, crickets, and peace. I

I was placed into a school for half a year that to this day still resembles a torture chamber in my
mind's eye. My seemingly nice teacher was warm with my parents, but bitterly cold with me. She
yelled at me upon my arrival the first day for not knowing what to do. The rest of the year proved
to remain about the same as the first day. Somehow, through all the stress transitions come equipped
with, I made a friend or two and managed to fit in with the best of an eight–year–old's abilities. I
thought the waves had calmed, that I was in for some smooth sailing. Could I have been any more
further from the actuality of the upcoming months?
The next three years of my life, which puts me somewhere at the end of seventh grade, I have
next to no memory. My father, who was currently a lieutenant for the Broken Arrow Police
Department, and had been employed with the agency for 18 years, remained a mere two years
away from retirement. Anyone who can calculate simple math knows that is too long to quit. So,
my dad, being the workaholic that he is, decided to stay in Oklahoma for the next two years, which
in actuality was closer to three and a half. My mother, older brother, and I moved to Texas. The
drama did not stop with that decision, however. My parents bought a new house still under

My Dream As A Teacher
From a young age I have always wanted to teach and inspire others to learn. This was heavily
influenced by my upbringing as my dad has always taught me that you can never have too much
information and any new skill you learn is a new skill you can use. I enjoy sharing my knowledge
and learning from others. For me personally I believe that teaching is such a valuable career choice
as the devotion and passion required from teachers is what is needed to be able to deliver the best
education for the students.
I would love to teach young adults and inspire them to want to learn and find out new information
and skills and to grasp all they can while they are at school. I want my students to feel supported in
their career paths and I hope to be there to assist them achieving their dream career/job. As a
compassionate person I would like the opportunity to help kids who don't think they can be at
school and won't ever be successful to change that perspective and help them come up with plans
in how they are going to achieve what they would like. Coming from a business degree majoring
in Human Resource Management and Public Relations, it has reinforced for me my desire to
teach and/or train people. Since April 2016 I have been working with QUT as a Widening
Participation Ambassador, and this has reminded me of my career idea as a child to be a teacher in
high school as I really enjoy my job liaising with students.
My dream job is to have the ability to help and teach students about history and where we have
come from to get us to the present day. As a student I remember History being one of my
favourite subjects as I loved learning about all the facts of the past, and I would love to be able to
share our history with students. History to me shows how far we have come as a society as well
as the mistakes we've made along the way, and represents us as people today. I believe a key part
of Modern History is the recent technology progressions, and how much things have changed within

entire pregnancy. The developing brain craves iron.
Reading to a newborn infant is the best way to help a child learn to read in the future. It is important
to recognize that what is most important is providing a language–rich environment for children.
