 I don’t have any children of my own, so I let 5th
graders call me at home to get help with homework.
 I was born in Florida, but grew up in Virginia.
 Graduated from Radford University, or “RU” (go
Highlanders!)

7. Summer Vacation
 This summer, I went to Smith Mountain Lake (a lot) to see my
nephew! Jackson is now 2 years old!
 Jackson also visited Patrick and I for Aunt Sarah’s Summer
Camp.
 We will work on Jackson’s birthday party in late February!

10.  This is my 12th year teaching fifth grade.
 I have also taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade.
Fifth is the best!!
 I have worked in schools in Roanoke City, Roanoke
County, Yorktown, and here in Fairfax County.
