Service to Community

• Boys & Girls Club of New Bedford
- During our time at here, we educated the
children about recycling in a fun and exciting
new way. We plan on our events to increase
recycling at the Boys and Girls Club.

• District Recycling Coordinator, Marissa
   Perez-Dormitzer
- Through our efforts, we hoped to have
increased the number of residents in New
   Bedford to recycle.
Team Emblem
• We chose The Green Genes as
  opposed to a common name
  because we believe that being
  environmentally conscious is
something that should be instilled in
  everyone. From there
we came up with the idea of using a
  green double helix to illustrate
our team name. This is when our
  creative director, Michelle took over
and formed all of our ideas into a
brilliant design using her photo shop
  abilities.
