3. Process one
• This is my first step I have added a black
background because this is conventional of
horror film magazine . My intention for this
poster is to have a main image quite close up on
the page. This posters is based on the magazine
cover Empire which is a existing magazine. The
red cross is the bases for the cover lines however
this is not a convention as these are placed at the
bottom of the page. I have added the cover lines
in a stencil font and I have added the feature
details in a clear red font.

5. Process two
• This is my next stage of the draft and here I
have added a barcode which is a little
convention and red boxes. The red boxes are
for the title which will be on the left hand
side. I like the fact the boxes are one the one
side and the image can taken centre stage.
6.
7. Process three
• Here I have added a white text onto the boxes
and aligned it so it all matches up. It in same
text as before I have added the stencil for
‘world exclusive’ above the boxes.
8. This is the masthead I like the font
that was in the carnivals in the
olden day it stands out and is very
clear and in a block font. I haven’t
seen a font like this in the existing
magazines yet but this is why its
different as its slightly more
detailed than the other ones.
9. This is the image that I am
using for this and its from the
internet I will eventually take
my own photo for the
magazine. There is a plug at
the top of the page ‘Trixter’s
premiere UK only’
