Since the siesta is the
traditional daytime sleep
of Spain, and through
Spanish influence, of
many Hispanic American
countries and in the
Philippines, the word
siesta has been taken
from Spanish, from the
Latin- hora sexta – "the

while having their siesta.
4. In Mexico, Mexicans also done siesta. This

there are many tiger living in Thailand.

Filipinos done siesta but it was also done in
other countries like Thailand , America
, Mexico and China. And we also concluded
that the countries that do siesta also inherit
the practice of doing siesta from Spaniards.
We learned that we are not the only
country that Spaniards pass their influence
about siesta but they also influenced other
countries.
