 PDHPE is an important aspect in our
  children’s lives. It provides several benefits
  and key learning areas that include:
- Encourages an understanding and valuing
  of self and others
- Promotes physical activity
- Emphasises informed decision making
  leading to effective and responsible action.

 The study of PDHPE is specifically concerned with:
- Physical, social, cognitive and emotional growth and development
    patterns
-   The development and maintenance of positive interpersonal
    relationships
-   The factors influencing personal health choices.
-   Living and learning in a safe and secure environment
-   The adoption of an active lifestyle
-   Fundamental movement patterns and coordinated actions of the body
-   Skills that enable action for better health and
    movement outcomes.
Advocating teaching PDHPE in
primary schools.
           There are many different subjects that
            students need to be educated about from a
            young age. These include subjects such as:
            - Health               - Confidence
            - Physical Education   - Awareness
            - Personal Development - Safety
            -Relationships
            - Physical Activities
            - Knowledge
Conclusion
 As seen, PDHPE provides
  life long benefits that they
  can learn at an early age.
 Therefore, having PDHPE
  in the primary school
  curriculum is essential for
  students to learn and
  develop these benefits
  and skills that can be
  acquired.
