ask the class to think of the problems NOT the solutions
make a list of ‘things to consider’ and ‘questions to ask’
make a list of the hows and whys
what would be the BIGGEST problem for each?
5. CREATE NEW
PROBLEMS
now get the children to create NEW problems e.g. how to
transport a whole bus into space, how to make self-cooking
meals and so on
have them brainstorm ridiculous ideas and then swap these
ideas with another group who have to come up with ‘the
biggest problem’ that each idea creates
