DNA is the source of life and has been studied since a generation but very little is known as yet. Several sophisticated technologies of the current era have laid their foundations on the principle of DNA based mechanisms. DNA based technologies are bringing a new revolution of Advanced Science and Technology. Forensic Investigation, Medical Diagnosis, Paternity Disputes, Individual Identity, Health insurance, Motor Insurance have incorporated the DNA testing and profiling technologies for settling the issues.
BDRC has been organizing the DNA Series of Conferences since 2009. Several events organized by BDRC include 2009 (@ Andhra Pradesh Police Academy, Hyderabad), 2010 (Osmania University, Hyderabad), 2011 (GSI, Lucknow) and 2012 & 2013 (AIMSCS, University of Hyderabad). All the events have covered the wide aspects of DNA based advancements. The theme of the current event DNA 2014 6TH International Conference “Next Generation DNA Led Technologies” aims to bring out the new innovative applications based on DNA Profiling and sequencing. It tries to lay a plate form for the discussion of these evolving technologies of next generation that can be a new mild store in the history of science.
DNA 2014 Invites Investigating Police Officers, Medical Professionals, Scientists involved and interested in advancing technologies, Forensic Scientists, Research scholars, Professionals working in scientific laboratories, LIC Agents who are interested to have a complete genetic testing of their clients, Insurance Organizations, CROs and CSOs of various scientific organizations, Faculties in various institutions and students interested in budding out as scientists to this exclusive dais. It facilitates to bring together the expertise and the innovative concepts of various domains onto a common Dais. The theme has been handpicked from the today's social scenario. The event aspires to bring out the un trodden applications of the DNA technologies in those domains were it has not yet made a strong base in spite of its real use. Scope of this event includes the discussions related to the genetic predisposition tests that can make an individual aware of those diseases and abnormalities to which he or she is prone for.
Genetic predisposition can help even the agencies like Insurance & ESI etc to be pre known about the diseases which would attack their client in mere future. DNA 2014 expects to bring a big break through in these concepts.
DNA 2014 event also tried to add light on the applications of DNA Compatibility Testing with respect to marriages. There are several cases of

DNA technology based Compatibility testing service would enable a couple to understand the degree of compatibility among them which can to some extent predicts the success rate in the tested parties. It also predicts the rate of successful pregnancy after the marriage for the tested couple which can be a boon to the lay man.

Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory:
Andhra pradesh State Forensic Science Laboratory (APSFSL) was established in November and is under the Administrative control of the DG and IG of Police, Andhra Pradesh. At present, APSFL has twelve sections; each headed by an Assistant Director and Supervised by four joint Directors. APSFL has set up 24 mobile forensic science Laboratories called CLUES in all district headquarters to collect physical evidence from crime scenes. APSFL maintains highest quality in the analysis and prompt reporting and is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 : 2005 quality standards by the National Accreditation Board for laboratories, DST Govt. Of India since 2004 onwards.

Call for Papers
DNA 2014 invites the Paper and Poster presentations by the eminent scientific professionals, Doctors and Professors and the budding Scientists, research scholars and even students. Accepted papers will be Published in FMB Series of Springer and Helix.
DNA 2014 invites Technical Papers, Short Papers, Posters, Research Articles in the domains of Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Next Generation Advancements in Science and technology, Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics, Medicinal Biology, Recombinant DNA Technology, Forensic Science, Forensic Criminology, Drug Discovery, Microbiology and DNA based advanced technologies. The papers to be sent should neither be published previously nor currently under review by any other conference or journal. The papers should contain the relevant technical support, experimental proof and cross validation by the available literature or any other experiment and tools. The papers can be based on Hypothesis, Novel innovation, case study or a focus on an aspect. The selected Papers would be shortlisted for the presentation on the day of conference. Decision on the papers will be intimated through e mail along with the guidelines and last dates for the submission of the camera ready manuscript.

Registration
All the attendees need to get registered by submitting the Registration Form available on the website www.dna2014.dnares.in along with the payment of the Registration Fee on or before the last date mentioned. The participants shall bring their valid ID proofs at the time of conference for verification.
Registration for Authors
At least one author for each selected paper need to register per paper ID for Presentation. Also, if there are multiple authors for the same selected paper and each of you want to attend, each of you need to register. If you have multiple papers accepted for presentation, you need to register for each paper ID separately.

6. Cancellation/Refund Policy
Request must reach by e mail to dna2014@dnares.in or before 5th October 2014. There will be a cancellation charge of 50% and the paper will be withdrawn from the publication and proceedings. No request for refund will be entertained after 5th October 2014. Refund Cheques/Online Transfer will be released only after 10th Dec 2014.

Suitable arrangements for accommodation will be made in different guest houses in college and nearby hotels on self pay basis for candidates who request for the same.
