I live in Augusta, GA. I grew
up in Hephzibah, GA, which
is adjacent to Augusta. Many
people from Hephzibah just
tell people they are from
Augusta.

I am a Pre-K teacher at
Rollins Elementary
School in Augusta, GA.
This is my 2nd year
teaching Pre-K. I am
loving it thus far.
Major
I graduated from
Georgia Southern
University with a B.S. in
Early Childhood
Education. I am
currently studying
Accomplished
Teaching-Curriculum
and Instruction to earn
a Masters in Education.
4. Prior Knowledge of Instructional
Design
I have studied and used UBD and Backwards Designs
during my undergrad.
I have also recently studied some of the works of the
Schlechty Center’s “Focus On Design” related to the
engagement of students.
5. Interests & Hobbies
I LOVE TO SING! Music is one of my GREATEST interests. I enjoy
various genres of music and I love to implement music into my daily
lessons and transitions.
I also enjoy arts & crafts. When I’m not working, I oftentimes entertain
myself by doing some type of craft while listening to music.
