2. • Long Shot – title will appear on the mirror, font used to
show audience the genre and atmosphere of the darkness.

3. • Establishing Shot – shows location, creates atmosphere
and creates mood.
• Close Up – shows emotions, audience feel like they can get
to know the characters.

4. • 360* - expose all characters in a circle – introduction, helps
set scene.
• Over the shoulder, extreme close up – shows scripture
about ‘Bloody Mary’.

5. • Extreme Close Up – hand gestures to imitate the game play
 make audience feel involved.
• Close up – focus on the characters and their expressions in
the background, spin bottle, in the background there is a
female blurred character – bottle lands on her she becomes
focused.

6. • Focus changed from one character to another – they get
dared to play ‘Bloody Mary’ they laugh it off.
• Close up zoom – to artefact to show the topic of the
artefact collected by mother of one of the characters.

7. • Medium shot (side profile) – grabs hold of mirror believed
to show the ‘Bloody Mary’ legend.
• Close up – characters reaction to show emotion expression
 ‘Bloody Mary’ speaks about how she got trapped and
anyone who says her name 3 times can get trapped and will
replace her place. (dark music to accompany the scene and
atmosphere)

8. • Close Up – shows clear emotions of how the characters feel
while hearing the ‘Bloody Mary’ legend.
• B – anti-climax ending to confuse the audience as to what is
going on.

9. • Over the shoulder tracking – girl enters dark room with a
candle, says ‘Bloody Mary’ three times.
• Close up – to the candle being blown out.

10. • B – Camera turns away as the victim gets grabbed be
‘Bloody Mary’ – screen blacks out.
• Multiple shots – reveals the ‘Bloody Mary’ victims bosy.

11. • Jump shot, Zoom – ‘Bloody Mary’ zooms into the shot.
• Black out – credits appear to scary horror music.
