5. Who is this “ Kitchen Angel ” ? Born Cheryl Dale Theresa Felix, this Caribbean born native officially realized her dream and established Classic Gourmet Catering Company in 1995 while working with the Department of Defense, Canadian Military A Twice graduate of the Trinidad & Tobago Hotel School she obtained her Cooks Certificate and Chef Training Diploma before the age of twenty. She comes to Montreal, this Mecca of Inter-national cuisine with 27 years experience under her chef hat. She has worked for Holiday Inn International Trinidad Ltd, Fisherman ’ s Wharf Trinidad Limited, Trinidad Hilton International, Best Western Pembroke Inn Ltd, The Canadian Department of Defense CFB Petawawa and ‘ The Old Brewery Mission ’ , one of Montreal ’ s oldest shelter for the homeless, her experiences knows no limitations. Where there are individuals in need of food this angel is there. With an unrelenting passion for food, fuelled by the desire to fulfill a basic need in her fellow man, Chef Felix has set out to entice and provoke taste buds with whatever ingredients she may have at her fingertips with a solemn promise to ensure “ A Gastronomique Experience of a Lifetime ” with every encounter of her culinary concoctions.
