3. SOME
✓We use "some" in positive sentences.
Example:
I have some friends in London.

4. Exception:
✓Usamos SOME em perguntas quando
oferecemos ou pedimos algo.
Example:
Would you like some bread? (offer)
Could I have some water? (request)

5. Tem como tradução: algum(a) em
frases interrogativas e nenhum(a) em
frases negativas.
ANY

6. ANY
✓Usamos ANY em frases negativas e
perguntas.
Examples:
He doesn't have any friends in Chicago.
Do you have any cheese?

7. Read the conversation below:
- Barbara: Is there any milk left?
- Katherine: Yes, there is some in the bottle on the table.
- Barbara: Would you like some milk?
- Katherine: No, thank you. I don't think I'll drink any
tonight. Could I have some water, please?
- Barbara: Sure. There is some in the fridge.

coisa.
