Client : SHAR L-BAND T/R MODULE – Sriharikota (Nellore).
Nature of Project: Defence/Space Organizations (India)
Position : Functional Consultant – MM

Duration : January 2013 to March 2015
Client Description:
SATISH DHAWAN SPACE CENTRE (SDSC) is one of the lead centres of Indian Space Research Organisation
and situated at Sriharikota Andhra Pradesh. It has combination of facilities of production plant, Rocket
Motor static facility, launch complexes for variety of Rockets, Telemetry, Telecommand, tracking,
Data Acquisition and other support services. Shar module is developed for performance of modern
Radar systems for low noise amplification of signals and to transmit power.
Responsibilities:
 Configured MM organizational structure like creation & assignment of company, company
code, plant, storage locations & purchase organization.
 Apart from the standard movement types, new movement types created.
 Creation, maintenance and Change of all Master Data like Material Master with different
field selection, Vendor Master with different account group, Info Record, Source List and
Vendor Evaluation etc.
 Creation of Tax Codes & payment terms as per need of business.
 Setup the Organizational Structure by creating storage location, purchase organizations and
assigning them to the company code and the plant.
 Creation of all transitional process like PR, RFQ, Maintain RFQ, PO, Scheduling Agreements,
Delivery Schedules, Contracts, Service Orders, GRN, MIRO, Reservation, GI etc.
 To analyse inventory, stocks etc.
 Configured Sales and operations Planning, Demand Management plant parameters for MRP
such as MRP groups, MRP controllers, MRP types, planning calendar and lot-sizing
procedures.
 Customizations and Maintenance of day-to-day problems
 Detailed knowledge of purchasing, material files, and stock handling processes. Work
experience includes the following MM sub-modules: Inventory Management, Purchasing,
Vendor Evaluation and Physical Inventory.
 Configuration Enhancements for MM module, MRP Mail receipt, Inventory Work Process

Client Description:
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency of the Republic of India,
responsible for the development of technology for use by the military, headquartered in New Delhi,
India. It is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. TRMM
CABS is responsible for - IFF & Overall Programme Management, Integration & development of the data
handling system, displays, and mission computers. TRMM is developed for Transmitting and Receiving
the signal in missile production.
Responsibilities:
As a SAP PP Consultant I provided support to the following areas:
 Gathered requirements and analysed the workflow of the production process in SAP.
 Created material master, bill of materials (BOM), work-centres and routings.
 Performed Material Requirements Planning (MRP), material availability check and converted
planned order to purchase request or production orders.
 Created stock transfer orders between plants.
 Performed root cause analysis for production capacity issues.
 To Raise Sales Orders, Delivery & Shipment Number through SAP Modules.
 To Process, Maintain & monitor payments of the suppliers of the company
 Generated monthly production reports from SAP.
 Generated process plan and performed updates to the incoming, in process and outgoing
orders.
 Prepared process flow chart, control plan and work standards.
 Prepared periodic production plans along with weekly and month end reports.
 Managed manpower allocation along with machine scheduling
 To raise the dispatch advice, RGP, NRGP, Stock transfer order & Scrap note, new part code
creation.
 Communicating with Sales team for any excessive demands or high closing of fast moving
goods, and thereby highlighting this to the Demand Planners.
