As Salam International Hospital – New Cairo
In 2022, As Salam International Hospital launched its newest facility in New Cairo –
Fifth Settlement. Built on over 4000 square meters of land, the New Cairo hospital was
constructed in alignment with international architectural standards. Housing over 20
world-class medical service departments, the hospital is equipped with the latest
technologies including highly sophisticated diagnostic laboratories, imaging tools, and
top-of-the-line surgical facilities among many others.

Accreditations
Striving for continued excellence in all domains, As Salam
International Hospital has been
accredited by the Joint Commission International organization
(JCI) since 2015. A world-re- nowned healthcare Accreditor,
the JCI is considered the gold standard in the global health
care community.
As-Salam International Hospital is the third hospital worldwide
and first in the Middle East to be granted clinical care
certification for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
(COPD), and the nineteenth hospital worldwide to be granted
clinical care certification for Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI)
by the JCI. The accreditation was updated in 2021 and is valid
until 2024.
The JCI Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC) Standards
are intended to stimulate continuous, systematic and
organization-wide improvement in daily performance and in
the outcomes of patient care.
Furthermore, the hospital is ISO certified and complied against
HACCP principles specified by CODEX ALIMENTARIUS
CAC/RCP 1-1969, revision 2003

7. Dar Al Fouad – 6th of October City
For more than 20 years, Dar Al Fouad Hospital and leading Cardiology and
Cardiotho- racic Surgery provider Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF) have
collaborated closely as part of a longstanding partnership. The agreement sees
the CCF offer continuous tech- nical, medical, and administrative support to
Dar Al Fouad Hospital, as well as offering training exchange programs for
physicians and personnel. In 2018 the agreement was extended to include the
hospital’s new facility in Nasr City.
Dar Al Fouad 6th of October branch was the first hospital to introduce the Joint
Com- mission International (JCI) accreditation to the Egyptian healthcare
sector back in 2005 when it was first accredited. In 2020, Dar Al Fouad
Hospital was re-accredited by the JCI for the sixth time in its 20-year-long
history.
In November 2017, Dar Al Fouad’s 6th of October branch stroke unit became
the first of its kind in Egypt to be accredited by the JCI and in 2020, the stroke
unit’s accredita- tion was renewed for the second time.
Dar Al Fouad 6th of October branch is also the first hospital in Egypt to receive
a JCI certification for both its Acute Myocardial Infarction and Pain
Management programs in 2021.

8. In November 2017, Dar Al Fouad’s 6th of
October branch stroke unit became the first
of its kind in Egypt to be accredited by the JCI
and in 2020, the stroke unit’s ac- creditation

first hospital in Egypt to receive a JCI

world-class advisors and consultants BOVIS and
Nile Aster of Electromechanics, Dar Al Fouad

cooperation with Ambulan- tes Reha Centrum in Germany in 2001
and is currently situated inside the As-Salam International Hospital
in Maadi. The Center was inaugurated with the conceptual belief
that physiotherapy is not only a type of treatment, but a holistic
lifestyle ap- proach.
Our team of highly trained Egyptian and German therapists are
experts in utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques to
help patients overcome physical difficul- ties, improve their quality
of life, and support foster a greater sense of self-reliance. With 20

TABIBI provides integrated and comprehensive family healthcare
services for pa- tients at each stage, from newborns to seniors
and everyone in between. With mul- tiple clinics around Cairo,
TABIBI works to respond to all your health needs through

12. Elixir Gastro & Liver Care Center
Elixir Gastro and Liver Care Center provides patients with
integrated medical services designed to treat digestive
complications and liver diseases, from onboarding, assessment
and treatment through the diagnostic and therapeutic
endoscopy unit, oncology units, interventional radiology clinics,
liver transplant clinic, to consultancy offered by our nutrition
obesity treatment clinic.
The Center houses a team of experienced diagnostic and
interventional radiology consultants, as well as experts in
Hepatology and viruses. It is home to an expansive range of in-
house clinics including Al-Batinah Clinic for Gastroenterology
and Hepatology, a Pediatric Endoscopy clinic, a small intestines
disease clinic, and a gastrointestinal Oncology clinic. The Center
also works to provide patient care in the fields of non-surgical
treatment, providing liver cancer screening and treatment
through radiofrequency, chemical coagulation as well as
