Infant Care Tips: Breastfeeding and Sleep for Baby's Growth
1. There's something I want to share related to infant care in early labor of baby. It is easy, but if not
taken care will cause a major impact on the baby's growth. In the early weeks of your pregnancy, there
are two things you need to pay attention when taking care of your baby. Two important points are
sleeping baby and breastfeeding.
First of all, as much as possible in the first six months, you give your baby breast milk. In the first
six months, your child's stomach system is not strong to process food more complicated. So, food other
than breast milk, including milk formula may be given effect on your child's stomach system. If you also
want to give milk formula, make sure the milk mixture right. If your child show effects such as vomiting ,
shortness of breath and so on, stop give him formula milk and refer to the doctor. When you see your
baby's put a wanted milk , continue to only breastfeed him. Usually every three or four hours, your baby
want to breastfeed. Most major your baby want milk is fine the last time he cried after she breastfed at
three or four hours ago.
As a result, breast milk not only provides all the protein, sugar, fat and vitamins needed to make a
healthy baby, but the other benefits that are not found in formula milk. It helps protect the baby from the
attack of certain diseases and infections. Due to protective substances found in mother's milk, the child
who is breastfed rarely get sick or problems such as ear infections (otitis media), allergies, vomiting,
diarrhea, pneumonia, sound ronkus, bronchiolitis and meningitis. Research has shown that breast-
feeding protects infants from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome attack.
The baby will often sleep 10 to 20 hours a day . If he slept less than 10 hours , you should take
your baby to the hospital because he may be ill . Before your baby to sleep , make sure the baby is
eating, urinating and defecating , and diapers are copied. It is to avoid an uncomfortable baby during
sleep. The most disturbing effect if the baby does not get enough sleep well , the effect will arise during
adolescence or in adulthood such as vascular disease , diabetes , disorders neurokognitif and infant
growth . Moreover, if interrupted even briefly or continuously and improved on every night may affect
brain function . Thus it is important to ensure a conducive sleeping environment for babies to get quality
sleep needed . Sleeping babies are an important part of the process of growth. Sleeping at night is very
important to babies because they will be more carefree and relaxed in the morning .
Breastfeeding and infant sleep is the easy and most modern parents underestimate of the matter.
But if ignored, the effect is very large for a baby's growth. The effect does not come in that time frame, but
in the future. Preventive and early care had to be taken care to avoid the adverse consequences.
