The temple blurs the line between heaven and earth,
bringing people one step closer to god.
The building is concentric spatial organization.
Life and death is an endless cycle.
The buidling is in a balance arrangement.
We are all but equal in this circle of life.
Only when we submit to god’s calling,
will we be in his embrace.Find peace,
hope & rest in this journey of life.
A sense of touch that arouses
the devotion of soul to god.
It is in human nature that we
break through this realm,reaching
out to the guidance we implore
The temple is build on a wide flate ground.
Its like our minds are caged in a mindset,
shaped by our ancestors.

Southern Beijing ,China is where lays the the Hall of Prayers For Good Harvest, situated inside Temple of Heaven. It was built back at 1420 with the purpose of
worshipping for better harvest , but now it acts solely as a cultural museum. The 3-tiered wooden structure has been its most visually symbolic element, with
the curved surface representing the heavens while the rectilinear foundation , earth. It was believed that the architecture would bring people closer to gates
of heaven . Today, it is the largest architectural complex in the world for rituals to pay homage to heaven.
The uniform arrangement of the stairs
symbolises equality in humanity
The building in vertical form to make the transition
from reality to serenity
The building use concrete and steel as building material.
The raw structural material illuminated by sunlight to let brightness
guide us back from the route we were once mislead by the darkness
of sorrow.
The huge opening of building create well ventilation.
The air flow in building is like to tell us our grief will sweep away,
leaving us with remains of our remiscentor.
The roof vegetation create a seamless transition between
valley and building bring a meaning that nature offers the
absolute tranquility we so crave for through this chaotic life.
Located West of Barcelona , against the hillside of Sant Joan Despi nests the New Funeral Home, a thoughtfully planned concrete building by Batlle i Roig Arquitectes.
With the building stretched, the rectangular volume is differentiated into parts with the preparation area and ceremonial hall clearly segregated as shown in the floor
plan. The sloping grass roof extending towards the terrain allows the building to blend as if it’s part of the topography. The choice of raw materials though, reflects
the purity and honesty of the various spaces in the building. Still, nothing transcends the ability of light and shadow suffusing into the building , determining the
atmospheres of each space. In a way , they accompany the visitors' mourning at every possible turn.
The entrance and exit are clearly separated. When entering
a vault of calmness, exiting into the embrace of reality
