Practice in participation is necessary for the uplifting of the organization

Participation means involvement of someone in a cause with the aim to contribute in the goals of the
causes and is thus responsible for the success and achievement of the causes. Participation let the
workers understand the importance and reasons behind the causes. It is a way of expressing one's self
thoughts about that cause. The people involved in participation have a scope to let other people know
the reasons behind the causes. The participation gives people a cause to discuss and speak about the
reality of the causes.

People may also participate in the management apart from the participation in the causes. Participation
provides an opportunity to the employees of the organization to take part in the decisions of the
organization. There are certain levels in the participation. Participation may have the level of shop or
departmental. Participation may also be at the top level. It is a must for the participators that they must
be willing to share the burdens and responsibility of the system.

The scope to participate varies over a number of factors. Social, economic and personnel decisions all
together contribute in participation. The social decisions of the participation includes the working hours,
the rules of work, the rules of healthy, safety, controlling of noise and other welfare measures. There
are certain economic decisions which include the shut downs, automations, the methods and processes
of manufacturing and various other financial aspect. The personnel decisions involve the recruiting and
selecting process, the distribution of work, the transfers and promotions and the settlement of
grievances or disputes.

The workers and employers should also participate at the same time in the various decisions of the
incorporations. The workers should also be provided with the scope to influence the various decisions at
the different levels. There are various steps of participation. One can participate in the board level and
ownership levels. There are also participation in the staff and working councils as well. There is
participation in complete bargaining and suggestion schemes as well. There are participations in the
quality circles and also in the powered teams as well. There are also councils and committees in which
active participation can be done. There are participation in the enrichment and enlargement of job as
well. People can also be involved in the financial participations.

Participation is also possible at the board levels. This is known to be the richest or highest point in the
democracy. The representatives of workers can take an active role with the aim to safeguard the
interests of the workers of the organization. The representative is also a guide to the workers and can
make them realize the importance or necessitates of a certain decision that the workers may fail to
realize. Practice in participation also involves the higher levels. By participating, it is possible to make
the workers have a commitment to their jobs and make them understand that dedicated and hard work
is necessary for them as well as to the organization as well. There are certain levels in the participation
and every one can practice it.
