The Hardy family journey began in 1987 with the purchase of the
Nemacolin Resort property. It began with a vision: to create a
world-class resort unlike any other. To create a getaway designed
for couples, families, corporate gatherings – “a little something for
everyone” destination.
Twenty plus years later, we’re proud to offer guests AAA Four-
Diamond lodging, dining, amenities, activities with superior service
throughout the resort. We’re equally proud of the newest in our line
of luxury accommodations – Falling Rock, named to prestigious
Five-Diamond status 2007, 2008 and 2009. One of only 93 hotels
in the country to receive Five Diamonds. And Lautrec is also a
recipient of the AAA Five-Diamond award in 2008 and in 2009, the
