Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity was recognized as an Affiliate of Distinction by Habitat for Humanity International for its operational excellence. Volunteers contributed a record number of days in 2017 supporting construction projects, ReStore locations, and neighborhood events. The 2017 Hard Hat & Black Tie Gala raised over $800,000 for the organization. Both ReStore locations were recognized for their commitment to social responsibility. A new program called Age in Place began providing chore services to help seniors remain in their homes. Generous donors like Andersen Corporation and the F.R. Bigelow Foundation provided large donations and investments to multiply the organization's impact.
