hands out more than 18,000 bags of food for individuals and families
A few members from the Homewood, IL Branch spent the day at Respond Now unloading trucks,
sorting food donations and helping to prepare their quarterly newsletter.
The Homewood, IL Branch plans to serve Respond Now in the future with their annual holiday store.
Last year, Respond Now was able to bring holiday joy to over 1,000 children. This year the holiday store
is hoping to serve 1,400 children.
Respond Now uses donations to provide immediate assistance towards food, prescription medication
vouchers, rent/mortgage and utility payments, transportation vouchers and temporary housing stays.
Because of the nature of what they do, We believe that the prize money would be able to provide
