Children will watch the following videos:

%20See%20Track,%20Think%20Train.mp4
They will then have a discussion about safety
and how people can stay safe.
Discuss activity.

children’s
answers and

(45 minutes)
Children will work in pairs to look on the
Network rail website
http://www.networkrail.co.uk/safety/ to look at
rail safety and hazards.
They will then create an A3 poster to present
their knowledge and understanding.

people can stay

Plenary
(5 minutes)
Children will present their posters to the class
and discuss as a class the ways in which people
can stay safe.
