1. SyrGuide

3. SyrGuide is a collaborative project from the
Syracuse University Writing Program.

4. SyrGuide was created and is maintained by
students in order to solve the question of
“Where’s the good stuff?”

5. While there is A LOT of GREAT information on
the local Syracuse area, it is not easy to access
from all platforms.

7. A simple and minimal design was originally in
place, however it did not function as inviting or
useful across platforms.

8. There are three key artifacts that were decided
upon to bring attention and traffic to SyrGuide

2. Menu Consolidation
3. Promotion

10. Overall Design
SyrGuide runs off of WordPress, so the best way
to change the overall look of the site was to pick
a new theme.

12. The selected theme is still minimal, but it
functions better on devices besides a basic
browser.
