4. Experience: I have 18 years of work experience in different positions of which 12 years on
managerial position.
Current : since March 20/2014 G.C I have been working for Ministry of Environment
Forest and Climate Change as senior Economic Analysis Expert and Director,
Ecosystem Service Valuation Directorate with a monthly salary of 5781 birr.
Major Responsibilities
Involving in preparation of state of Environment Reports
Collecting, organizing and analyzing economic data
Involving in the preparation of National Communication Reports to be submitted for
UNFCCC
Major Achievements
Training was given for sectoral and regional experts on the preparation of state of
environment reports as a result 7 regional states and 1 City Administration was prepared
their own regional state of environment report
Guideline document was prepared which help to collect and organize economic and
Environmental data
Input was given for the Consultant who prepared the second term National
Communication Report of Ethiopia which was submitted for UNFCCC
Worked as Team leader and socio-economic expert for the Preparation of Somali
Regional State local range land state of environment report preparation
Partners: UNDP Ethiopia and PAA (Promoting Autonomous Adaptation at Community
level)
From October 15/2011 – January 15/2014 G.C worked as General Manager For
Oromiya Agricultural Cooperatives Federation in Addis Ababa.
Major Responsibilities
Plan, Organize, Direct and Control operational plan of the Federation
Facilitate and Coordinate/lead the marketing activity of the Federation and Cooperative
Unions that is Domestic and international marketing
Advice Board members and Communicate with other stakeholders and facilitate the
coordination among stakeholders
Main Achievements
Annual and three year operational plan of the Federation was prepared and implemented
as a result the federation involved in Agricultural Input supply and distribution,
Agricultural product marketing and Credit was facilitated for marketing, the federation
was penetrate international market.
Four new Agricultural Cooperatives were being a member of the Federation
The Federation was coordinated with other Regional state federations like SNNP and
Tigray Marketing Federations.

Worked as Department head of natural resource management for Bako Tibe District
Agricultural Development office (May 2011 – October2011 G.C) for six months.
Worked as District capacity Building Office Head of Bako Tibe District for three
years(March2008- April 2011 G.C)
Main Responsibilities
Coordinating and Leading the Civil service and Good Governance Reform of All sectors
in the District
Facilitate the Preparation and implementation of the development plan of the District
Leading different development related Committee in the district such as WASH Project,
UNICEF, Rural Road Development, TVET development etc
Major Achievements
Our District was ranked the second best performer of 18 Districts of west shoa zone in
civil service and good governance reform realization.
Coordination of the implementation of development plan was effectively undertaken.
Effective leadership was given for major committee as a result 16 WASH projects was
accomplished, 7 FTC projects were constructed and developed, 8 health posts and 2
health center were constructed and developed, One TVET center was constructed and
Developed, one public Library was constructed, 8 primary schools and 2 High schools
were developed,
Worked as District labor affairs office head for one year(March 2007- March 2008G.C)
Major Responsibility
Coordinating activities that create job opportunity for youth
Coordinate activities that enhance the livelihood of the Needy peoples.
Main Achievements
15 sheds were constructed that solve the problem of working place for the youth
20 youth Cooperatives were established and more than 500,000 birr were facilitated as a
long term loan for the youth group
Worked as community participation expert for three years(August 2004- March 2007
G.C)
Major Responsibilities
Promoting the development of irrigation system
Main achievements
New site were developed for irrigation purpose and through effective awareness creation
progarmme the attitude of the society were improved.
The production of crops and vegetables were increased
Worked as District cooperative promotion office head for six years(October 1997- July
2004 G.C)

Promoting and restructuring the development of Cooperative society
Main Achievements
27 Primary Cooperatives were restructured, 2 new primary cooperative were established
and 2 Cooperative Union were established
Cooperatives were able to undertook Agricultural product marketing and Agricultural
Input distribution
More than 900,000 birr embezzled money were repaid
