1. The Parade
Franci's mother will take her and her brother Bill to a fun
parade on Monday. There will be children who ride in cars
in the parade and children who walk behind the cars.
She will get lots of candy from the clowns in the parade.
The clowns have on purple hats.
After the parade, Francis will eat her candy. Her mother
doesn't like parades because they are very noisy. She likes
to be at home watching TV and taking a nap. Francis' father
works very much. Her brother Bill is a very intelligent boy.
He speaks three languages: Spanish, French and English.
He gets good grades at school.
There is a big gym close to Francis' house. They go
there every Sunday to swim and play basketball. Bill does't
like to swim but he loves to play basketball. Francis likes to
swim and play basketball all the time.
