Put the sentences in the active voice.
We use the passive
voice when we don’t
know who did the
action or the action
itself in more
important.
The passive voice is less
usual than the active
voice. But sometimes a
statement in passive is
more polite than in
active voice.
The passive is formed
with the verb to be and
the past participle of
the main verb.
Present Simple am / is / are + past participle The office is cleaned every day.
Past Simple was / were + past participle The office was cleaned at 5 o’clock.
Present Perfect have / has been + past participle The office has already been cleaned.
Future Simple will be + past participle The office will be cleaned tonight.
