My brother was once lazy but is now hardworking. He had a kind Spanish teacher from Puerto Rico who was not strict with her young students. My brother's best friends were rude and spoiled, but one was a talented swimmer who won his town's tournament for three years in a row. Through diligent practice with his swimming coach friend, my brother transformed from a poor swimmer to one who now swims skillfully like a fish.

1. MY BROTHER
When my brother was young, he was a very lazy boy. He
was intelligent and kind but lazy. Nowadays, he is
hardworking. His Spanish teacher was from Puerto Rico.
She was a nice and tall lady. She wasn't strict with her
students because they were very young.
My brother's best friends were kind of rude. They weren't
that nice because they were spoiled. One of them was a
very good swimmer. He was the captain of his swimming
team in his school. He was very fast in the water. For
three years in a row, he was the winner of a swimming
tournament in his town.
His mother was very proud of him. My brother was his
best student. They were in the swimming pool of the
school for two hours every day in the evenings. But my
brother was never a good swimmer. He was responsible,
formal and punctual; he wasn't lazy for his swimming
lessons; therefore, nowadays he swims like a fish.
