Total Film
Total Film is a UK-based film
magazine published every 4
weeks by Future Publishing.
The magazine was launched
in 1997 and offers cinema,
DVD and Blu-ray news,
reviews and features.
Each month, Total Film
provides a range of features,
from spotlight interviews with
actors and directors, to
making of and on-set pieces
for new and future releases.
Each issue includes an in
depth interview with a
director or actor which is
known as the Total Film
Interview.
I chose this magazine because it had a single portrait in the middle and an
interesting blurred background. The use of blues and whites creates an eerie
atmosphere which would be exciting to recreate. I also like the way the warm
skin colours contrast with the background, this makes the face stand out and
catch your eye. Total Film and other magazines normally have the main picture
over the top of the magazine title. This creates a sense of depth, which again
catches your eye.
