Step 1: To select activities go to
the left corner of your screen and
select the activities icon.

Step 2: If you want to see what conversations you have been involved in, select
“Conversations” and see what has been going on in your team.

Not only will you see your conversations but also what has
been happening with the people included in your team. This
is the “news-feed” of Microsoft Teams.

things you can add under the ”Conversations” tab.

conversations you can video chat with your team members or
even host a video-chat conference call!

40. Step 7: To see what files have been shared into your group, select the “files”
tab and you can upload a photo for your team to see, create a new file, and
upload a link to share with your team members.

share your teams page with someone else.

you have with your teammates.

Step 5: If you go over to files, this shows you where you can
upload files such as Microsoft forms, and files saved to your
computer to share with your teammates.
49. Step 6: If you scroll down and select “share” you will see two
options. You can either share by uploading from your one
drive or uploading a file on your computer.
51. Step 8: You will be able to see if any of your teammates have been
active your in chat’s and in your program
52. Step 9: If you select the “+” sign that is located next
to the “organization” tab then this is what will
appear. (The organization tab is not available in the
free version).
53. Step 10: Once the “+” is selected, this is how your screen will look. This tab
allows for you to add website links into your chat.
54. Step 11: If you go to the right side of your screen you will
see 3 tabs, if you select the first which is a video camera
you can video chat with your teammates.
55. Step 12: If you select the phone call icon, you can audio
call with your teammate/ teammates.
56. Step 13: If you select the multiple people icon, you can type in a
name of a person to add into your chat session.
57. Part 4: The “Teams” Tab
Step 1: To select “Teams”, go to the
left corner of your screen and select
the tab that says “Teams”.
58. Step 2: The teams you belong to will show up to the right of the
”Teams” tab, according to your favorites.
59. To create or join a team, click on “Join or create a team”
located at the bottom of the Favorites tab.
60. Step 3: Once you have selected a team, click on ”Conversations” to
bring up recent team activity in the chat.
61. Step 4: To start a conversation with the team, type
and send your message using the text box located
at the bottom of the screen.
62. Step 4: Click on the “Files” tab located directly next
to the “Conversations” tab.
63. Step 6: Under the files tab you can create or upload
files to share, and share a hyperlink with all the
members of your team.
Any file that the team shares will all appear in
the files tab.
64. Step 7: Click on the “Wiki” tab to edit documents, track
notes, and share specifics all while being able to edit in
real time along with your team members.
65. Wiki function continued: To share content, enter a
Title and a Subject and enter the information to be
shared. New sections can be added as well to keep
the information organized.
66. Step 8: Click on the”+” symbol directly
to the right of the “Wiki” tab

apps or files to the top
ribbon of the “Teams” tab,
the “+” symbol brings you
to the “Add a tab” page.
