2. Chemical hazard
• Introduction
• A hazard is a situation that poses
a level of threat to life, health,
property, or environment. Most
hazards are dormant or potential,
with only a theoretical risk of
harm. however, once a hazard
becomes "active", it can create an
emergency situation. A hazardous
situation that has come to pass is
called an incident. Hazard and
possibility interact together to
create risk. There are seven type
but in this slide I will explain five
of hazards.
Automotive products (antifreeze, motor oil, batteries, waxes/polishes)

• Household hazardous waste at pandan indah ampang (chemical hazard)
- any leftover or unwanted household chemical for example oil of the car,
that cannot safely be disposed of in the trash or down the drain because it
contains ingredients that are toxic, flammable, reactive, or corrosive.
Proper disposal prevents HHW from entering the environment, damaging
soil, groundwater and streams, or causing harm to people and animals.
• Assessing risk or the Level of risk
- Consequence (minor high)
- Likelihood possible(moderate)
- Moderate level of risk
• Recommendation or controlling the risk
All the chemical should be keep very careful and all that stuff should be keep
in one safe place. The place should not mix with other things such as food or
medication in our house.

Do not go always, to the place where all people gather and overcrowding.

barrels bins they use empty most likely to mosquito breeding laying eggs and

-Likelihood possible ( moderate)
- very high level of risk
• Recommendation or controlling the risk
each person must comply with the rules set. gasket your car in the right place,
not follow like liver can cause life-threatening another respondent.
always careful work time. not joking when do the job so dangerous as to move

use the table to learn and study that always there is to prevent your back pain.
if yes use the old way to learn or study so you must always stand up to avoid
numb leg and back pain.

hazard, Physical hazard , Ergonomical hazard. We should practice safe and
healthy of living in this world with applying the enforcement rules and
regulation that related to workplace safety and hygiene. That (including all
individual). The most important things in this world is ‘health’,without it life is
