2. Objective of lesson
1. To show the value of working
together…team-works!
2. The responsibility to grow.
3. To show the imperativeness of training up,
another generation.
3. Value in Team-works!
‣Mark 6:6-13
‣Compare vs. 6 with
Deuteronomy 17:6
& 19:15
‣Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
‣1 Kings 1:1-4
4. Value in Team-works
•Exodus 17—Moses
arms grow weak!
•Mark 2:1-11—The
paralytic, Jesus see
the faith of his
friends!
•T.E.A.M
6. Application of the parable
• We all have a responsibility and even if He is
not physically standing over us, He still
expects things to get done.
• One talent was worth 15 years wages!
• Note vs. 15…five, two and one
• 75 years, 30 years and one year worth of
wages is what they are interested with!
7. Application.. 1 talent man
• Matthew 25:18 But he who received the one talent
went away, and dug a hole in the ground and hid
his master’s money.
• The important thing for this man was that the
money was secure and that he could produce it
when the time came. Keeping it in this way meant
that there was no possibility of loss, but it also
meant that there was no possibility of gain
• God always expects a return! (John 15:1-8)
8. Application of the parable
1. We are not all created with equal skills,
abilities and opportunities.
2. Success only occurs when we take action.
3. God always gives us everything we need to
do what He has called us to do.
4. We will be held accountable
9. F.E.A.R
False Evidence Appearing Real
• Matthew 25:18 But he who received the one talent went
away, and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s
money.
• Matthew 25:24-25 He also who had received the one talent
came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man,
reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you
scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid
your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.
• Do not allow fear to keep you from putting forth effort!
10. The responsibility to grow
✓Exodus 4:10f
✓2 Peter 3:18
✓Hebrews 5:12-14
✓2 Peter 2:1-3
11. One body many parts
Use your talents
1 Corinthians 12:12-30 & Ephesians 4:15-16
12. Use your talents (t.e.a.m.)
•Every part of the
body is important!
•No matter how big or
small!
