3. Preparation takes time.
3. Define Preparation
• The action or process of making ready or being made
ready for use or consideration.
• Something done to get ready for an event or undertaking
4. Things we must prepare for!
Judgement
• Hebrews 9:27— And in as much as it is appointed for men
to die once and after this comes judgment.
• 1 Peter 4:17-18 For the time is come that judgment must
being at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what
shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the
ungodly and the sinner appear?

5. Things we must prepare for!
Suffering, Loss, and Trials
• Philippians 3 …turn with me please…
• James 1:2 My brethren count it all joy when you fall into
various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith
produces patience.
• Luke 22:31 Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded
permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you,
that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have
turned again, strengthen your brothers.
6. Things we must prepare for!
Growth and Evangelism
• We grow collectively when we grow individually!
• Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had set his heart to STUDY the
law of the LORD and to PRACTICE it, and to
TEACH His statutes and ordinances in Israel.
• Nehemiah 4:6. SO we built the wall and whole wall
was joined together to half its height, for the people
had a mind to work.
7. Things we must prepare for!
Growth and Evangelism
• Evangelism is about our willingness to go!
• Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?
